What have we been up to??

Hey everyone! sorry we haven't posted in a while, we've been busy having way to much fun! so i owe you guys a good post!

well lets back track to the first of the summer, lets say June 2010. we spent most of our days at Cherry Hill and playing outside. it was a blast! At first Coleman hated the water but with much persuasion and persistence he is now a little fish!! We also found a new love for coloring with sidewalk chalk but mostly eating it.

In June the Denny Family was also hit with heartache and sadness, my sweet sister-in-law gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Tavyn, very early on in her pregnancy. He wasn't able to stay on this earth with us, for this cause we mourn. But rejoice in the thought that he is perfect and able to wait for his mom and dad and future brothers and sisters in the presence of God, Jesus and those loved ones who had passed on before him. my heart goes out to Brayden and Kaylie, I think of their pain daily and wish i could take it from them. As a mother i cant imagine the grief Kaylie feels and the sadness although I know she'll be able to hold Tavyn again and raise him as she would here on earth.

sorry for the sad subject i just want boo and Kaylie to know we love them and pray for them daily and know that God wouldn't give them anything they couldn't handle!

July was a fun month! On the Fourth of July i ran my first race. my sister Megan and I ran a 10k. it was fun and a challenge. the last mile was the hardest by far. I dunno if its cuz i was exhausted of if cuz my sister ditched me by sprinting off! We also watched fireworks ate good food and hung out with lots of family and friends. In July we also celebrated My little guys one year old birthday! I CANT BELIEVE HE IS ONE!!! we started the day off with eating pancakes shaped like ones and then went to Cherry Hill. we wore Coleman out so came home for a nap and party preparation! we then had over Nate's family and my family for cake and ice cream. He was spoiled rotten! the night ended with a bang literally! we did fireworks with our friends down the street from us! it was so fun! a perfect birthday! The next day Nate left for Alaska for 9 days. he got to go deep sea fishing for salmon and halibut! we missed him like crazy at home but when he brought home 150 pounds of fish i was happy he went! :)

In August we Celebrated our 4Th anniversary! what a happy 4 years it was been. we got a hotel room at Little America and tickets to the Toby Keith Concert! we had a blast! and the next morning we left camping with my family for a week. We went to Granite Creek, its up by Jackson Hole. we hiked, played in the dirt, swam in the natural hot springs and read a lot. We also got to run the snake river, something i always look forward to!

and then finally September we went up to Nate's grandparents cabin for labor day weekend. we rode 4 wheelers, learned how to play boggle and ate WAY to much good food. I discovered on this vacation that I LOVE TO COOK! I wanna find a cook book like the movie Julie and Julia and cook my whole way through it. we'll see if that ever happens. In September we also decided it was time for a new car so we could stop looking like we packed our whole house when we would go anywhere so we traded in the trusty rusty KIA and bought a Ford explorer. so if you see a maroon ford explorer around honk and wave!! :) we also cut off colemans long blonde locks so he now has a cute buzz. he looks so much older now!

We have been so blessed this summer! it went by way to fast but that seems to be the trend these days! sorry my blogging was so far behind! thanks for reading.
